Thanksgiving Fashion

by Rebecca Bertone

November 9th, 2017

Thanksgiving is only two weeks away and we can practically smell the pumpkin pie already! The holiday season is full of family gatherings, meetings with friends, and other events to celebrate the holidays. Forget gifts, and schedules, and budget...the hardest thing to figure out? What do we wear?! We teamed up with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle vlogger, Misha Larue, to bring you her top four tips and tricks for a killer Thanksgiving outfit.

Tip #1: A nice trench coat is the way to go for fall/winter. It’s a staple piece in my fall wardrobe!

Let’s face it, it’s chilly. The days of going jacket-less are over, so we’re embracing it! Throwing a trench coat over your holiday outfits is a great way to stay warm and add a little something extra to your ensemble.

Tip #2: Being comfy and cute is your best bet. You don't want to wear something that you're uncomfortable in!

Wearing that pair of jeans that fits you just right, or the sweater that flatters your figure perfectly is the way to go this season! Layering is key, so finding a good fit for each piece is important. Holiday events can run long, so think about long term comfort when you get ready.

Tip #3: Dress according to your style and what makes you feel beautiful. For me, a chunky knit sweater is always a must for me with a pair of leggings and a nice boot heel!

Feel good, look good...right? We think so! What’s the one thing in your closet that makes you feel fierce when you put it on? Incorporate that into your Thanksgiving outfit. When you feel good, everyone can tell! Confidence is the prettiest thing you can wear, so find that special piece that helps you get there.

Tip #4: Just have fun with your style and take a lot of warm, cozy pictures!

Warm tones for Thanksgiving, festive colors for Christmas, and sparkles for New Years keep things fun. When putting together outfits for all your holiday events, keep one thing in mind. Fashion is fun!
