If you're an avid beach bum, and let's be honest….who isn't? You've probably been to Hawaii, Cancun, or maybe even Thailand. This year after Monsoon season, the Pacific island of Fiji has been restored and boasts some of the best beaches and most elaborate new hotels. The newly refurbished Wakaya Club is set along some of the most pristine sand on the planet, in an exclusive tropical paradise. White sandy beaches stretch into turquoise water, surrounded by beautiful people and some delicious, fresh cuisine. Laucala Island, built by the owner of Red Bull, features a private submarine and also received an extravagant new remodel. The archipelago of Fiji is made up of 330 islands, 110 of which are permanently inhabited. Endless snorkeling and diving discoveries await in this volcanic region. The Mamanuca group is considered one of Fijis top destinations and offers a huge number of resorts, surf breaks and reefs to dive.

The Maldives is perhaps the best kept secret on the Arabian Sea. Floating just south west of the tip of India, these islands offer tranquility and seclusion like no other place on Earth. The Karumba Maldives and The Residence Resorts offer guests an incomparable setting, with rooms on stilts over the shores and incredible swimming holes with water temperatures ranging between 82 and 86 degrees. Their peak season begins in December, just in time for you to escape the cold. Enjoy incredible seafood and local markets in the capital of Malé or island hop in what Marco Polo referred to as “the flower of the Indies.”

Continuing our tour along the equator, South Africa has become one of the top new travel
destinations. We all have pictured the exotic safaris and wild landscapes, but did you know South Africa has some of the world's best coastline? Camps Bay, located near Cape Town, has been called the Emperor of Beaches. Considered South Africa's most popular spot, this shore-side stop features trendy eateries and bars between the spectacular 12 Apostles and the glistening Atlantic Ocean. East of Cape Town is Mossel Bay, featuring a long stretch of beaches and most famously, Santos Beach. This beach is most popular with local tourists featuring a charming tram through the town center. There is even a hotel with rooms in train carriages on the beach!

Now, all you need to do is start packing. So make sure to search Piggeeback for all your accommodation needs and last minute shopping to earn cash back for everything you buy.
